What model was that? SDI? The tdi's arnt exactly "quiet" especially as there a 3cyl lump ut they aint bad.

My TDI isnt that cheap, thats with coils, rims, induction kit declared. Also adrian flux wouldnt quote me cos they say there part of HIC? Try brentacre, HIC and them like to fight between each other...beating prices

Well for summit to do lol i decided to (mess) paint up the engine cover.... Rubbed it back and got some high build plastic primer on it. Badge panel removed. Tempted so badly to leave it like this Wet flattened it back a bit. Applied some Steel grey metallic. Gona laquer it tomorrow. Thats it lol.

Yeh spotted ya on the a1231, looked stupidly low...top stuff.

Dunno what the fuss is about lol, just gently pull with pliers on the bulb clip NOT wires, pops out...no damage. Job done.

My mate actually tasted some cos it had such a nice smell....it DOES NOT TASTE NICE Like the rims tyre shine is your friend.

You will be able to paint the chrome ring thats infront of the bulb but not actually the dish behind as this makes the beam.

Mines the same, rear all the way with ring out and front about 20mm left but on 16's. I think there spot on for the money, not much better if any than fk highsports.

Got a pair of headlamps, perfect apart from one broken clip, needs some glue or use as is. Still work fine.

So a 16" rim with et10 8j, thats pretty much scrubbage already. Then adding the adaptors to bring them to -10et (20mm) and -20et (30mm) will need more than arch rolling i would have thought... I'd say your dreaming

The black lights do look a lot better but i just had the tinting spray in the cupboard and thought hmm...why not HIDS will be fine on MOT as long as you leave the beam correct and dont have them too high. Had to change the sidelights though as they looked REALLY bad next to the HIDS, dint take the bumper off though lol easy! Cheers for the comments, took a chance with these rims Gaz (lupo-copy owner)
