Do you have the black plastic bits behind the headlights that you clip off if you wanted to change a bulb? Thanks

Hi Guys, This question is for those of you with HIDs (obviously for off road use only). I have installed a kit on my 1.4 (75bhp) Lupo, but am having trouble with regards to finding a suitalble earthing point for the drivers side ballast. Basically the drivers side light is not as bright or white (bought 5000k) as the passenger side, which is earthed directly to the battery. Can a bad earth effect the quality of light output? Or the ability the ballast has to power/ignite the bulb? So far I have tried both bulbs in both ballasts, and my findings are that the each ballast produces the same light output regardless of bulb. i.e. I have ruled out faulty bulbs. Before I send back the ballast I would like some advice around a better earthing point? (if this could be the cause of the poor output). I am yet to try the 'faulty' ballast wired up identically as the passenger side - but this is definately something I shall be doing when I return. Any tips guys? Thanks, Irfan

What questions should I ask on the phone when buying a Lupo?

I would ask if there has been any work on the car, paying attention to the common faults: Gearbox Pedal Box Electric Windows Temp Sensor Water Pump Thermostat and Housing Anything else? -

Hi Guys, I am after some lowering springs for my 1.4 Lupo. Ideally I am looking for the cheapest lowering option and 40mm is perfect for keeping the original struts. I often seem people going from springs to coilovers, so if you want to get rid of your old lowering springs then let me know Thanks, Irfan
