  1. If you unlock it and leave your window open then the alarm should be set off. If you press the button and leave the window open the alarm won't be sounded.
  2. Yeah I'm sure he was on about a golf lol
  3. Did it definitely come as standard or has someone modified the polo one to fit? No, as far as I'm aware none of the uk lupos have a glove box as standard.

  5. Have a search for "£10 mods" or "cheap mods". Can't remember exactly what the thread is called but it will give you al
  6. Sorry by rattle can I meant spray paint them at home using tins of paint with spray heads. Not sure if that's the term you didn't understand? Most auto stores or homebase/B&Q should sell them. 7. No the lupo and 1.4 badges are just stick on with no indents. Just use a hair dryer and dental floss or old credit card to ease them off. Then use bug and tar remover (or a relatively course polish) to take off the residue.
  8. Yeah there's an indent. Either leave the badge on or get it filled by a body work specialist and repainted. £150-200. Educated guess but you're best phoning and asking a body work place. For the wheels either rattle can then if you're good enough or go to a painter to get then powder coated. Lights you can use lamin-x or something similar.
  9. Give more info on that glovebox and we'll answer your questions
  10. I keep forgetting how good this looks on those wheels. Safe to say, everyone on CL has a boner for this.
  11. Stop teasing and let's see a decent pic!!! Geez a cheecky preview on fb
  12. The bottom right angle is 66.8 and the top angle is 113.2. The rest are right angles.
  13. Here's some of the pic's I got off my mate This is where we took a wrong turn and got beached haha This deservedly won best in show
  14. I'm sure fattty spent £1200 just on leather so you would have to add labour on top of that
  15. Ah just never noticed you wanted the angles too. I'll whap the pen n paper out in the morning.
  16. 7.62". Working in mm is easier lol so it's 193.4mm
  17. What? Apart from the fact that the premiums will go up?!If the guy seems legit then forward him the bill. I'd use insurance as a last resort.
  18. Thought i'd post in here instead of via pm in case someone else finds it useful. This is copied from a pm I replied to ages ago: The way to do it is to use the formula: Volume = length x breadth x height So what you need to do is draw out a template of the base of the box (use the boot carpet thing as a stencil). Then you measure the length of it and the breadth of it. The thing you are trying to work out is the height of the box. For example, if the length is 50cm and the breadth is 60cm and you also know that the volume is 24.069 then you just plug those numbers into the formula: 24.069 = 50 x 60 x height Height = (24.069 / (50 x 60)) x 10,000 The times by 10,000 puts it all back into centimetres. Also, the measurements were just random figures for the example and yours will be different. Also remember this is the internal volume so if you're using 18mm mdf then you'll need to take this into account when making the box. I feel like a maths teacher haha Not sure if that answers your question?
  19. The rear bumper comes off really easily. First remove the lights by taking out the torx screw that's visible (one on each light). The push the light straight out towards the side of the car (dunno if that make sense?). Then unplug the connector on each light. For the bumper there are roughly 10 torx screws (some on the underside, some on the top next to the boot and some in the arch lining). Take your time and lay a blanket or rug under your car in case it drops down by accident.
