piece of piss mate. have a go and show us the results ... only joking. same as everyone else said. you will need to 120 the join area, plastic weld it, rub it down, fill it, rub down the filler, probably fill again , stopper it, rub down the stopper.... or there abouts... see how it goes... truth is your not gonna wanna do it if you've never done it before. you will f*ck it up... be more cost effective to send it to a body shop...

that golf looks absolutely ****!.. the only decent pic there was the beetle. I think rat can look good on the right car. A loop or a mk5/6 golf arent the right cars... IMO

mines a 2000, 1.0. Got it end of july with 65k on the clock and full VW service history..... Cost me 1250!.. Copule of minor things wrong: - Few scratches. - Crack in the grill. - Door straps needs changing. - Revvs at idle Wouldnt say that would cost they would cost 700 tho... I think they are asking a bit too much for that mate...

i have a 1.0... im 24... 0 NCB (using them on my other car)... No crashes... 3 points (sp30 - speeding!) No mods Its £700 on my mums insurance! Which i thought was good (in comparison to other quotes i had) but is ridiculous in comparison to what you lot are paying! I do live in manchester tho which im guessing is a contributing factor!

if they can fit in then i may be in luck. have some 200W RMS component audiobahns that ive got sitting around. bought them for my old 306 but never fitted them. might have a look at them!... Gonna be looking for new head unit too. Was gonna get one of those sat nav units from the toureg, but changed my mind as security would be an issue. Any decent VW factory head unit people could recommend? Which can handle decent speakers. Price isnt really an issue. This is my first vw so not really up on the kit available... So appreciate all the help... Pete

No there arent any warning lights on or anything like that. It just revs. Forgot to mention its pretty abrupt and shakes the car when it does it!.. Jus a point, when i was looking through the forums last night noticed that your (luke) from 'north west'.. U from anywhere near ursmton?.. Sure ive seen a car like yours around there... Pete

As the title suggests im having a prob with the lupo revving when in neutral... Its wierd. Like when coming up to lights, whack it out of gear in to neutral and it revs from like 750rpm to up to about 1250... Does it about 3 or four times and then settles... Im not an engine guy myself... But i thought maybe the cluttch as it feels quite high anyway... Any help appreciated Pete

Your never gonna get a perfect match like that. Go to a refinishing place and get them to match it via colour chips. Any colour, of the same name, can have a number of variants dependent on the year... The colour of the primer wouldnt matter. Im not sure of the colour but from the name guess its a metallic. The prob with metallics is motteling. Not getting the metal particles to sit right giving it a darker look. Also you cant just do the handle and expect it to blend... Best thing you could do mate is take it to a bodyshop (or a mate who does painting!). The handle itself would need painting and also have it blending in to the surrounding area... Hope this helps. Hey... I'm after upgrading my door speakers. Wondering what the max size is and also max mounting depth?.. Is it a pain to change the dash mounted tweeters? How would you go about this? (also their size and mounting depth, if anybody knows!)?.. Also im open for suggestions as to what to replace them with... Anything about £70 i'd be happy with... Cheers Pete
