Cheers for that dude , that's the one I used to wire up my rclick unit. The one I'm after is the wiring diagram of the original VW central locking if anyone has it -

Afaik original VW CD Changers don't read mp3's etc. Only original Audio CD's or burned ones (set the burning speed as low as possible ) -
Wiring diagram for central locking?
stan-the-man posted a topic in Interior and In-Car Entertainment
Looking for wiring diagram for central locking in the Lupo Found a post that had it but its no longer available for download Does anyone have it and possibly could upload it again, please? Thanks, stm -
The black plug will have 12 slots but I think it only uses 9 so three should be empty if I remember correctly. And blue plug has 8 all together (all filled).

I'm getting Polo GTI clocks and going to change them to have white dials. I think it will look sweet, just not sure if they fit the same tho (the dials I mean)

I can buy a set of LHD Gti headlights complete with bulbs, ballasts etc. I know that I cant re-adjust them for RHD but I wonder if I could at least make a use of the guts from them (not the actual casing)? So my question is : whats the actual difference between LHD and RHD? The casing or the lot? Cheers, Stan

Thats bit odd, Could be that whoever had the car before broke the door lock and then found it easier/cheaper to replace the actual barrel together with fuel cap from the scrappy/friend than getting it new from VW?

Coding clocks Lupo Gti/3L to 1.4S Auto
stan-the-man replied to stan-the-man's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
Code them to the car as I presume the keys won't be recognized because clocks came from different car with different mileage etc. That's how it was in the Golf anyway. So where all the immobiliser info, mileage is being stored then if not in the clocks? If it is plug and play than I'm off to get Gti ones Oops I forgot that 3L is a diesel lol! Cheers -
Lupo Switches in Centre Console
stan-the-man replied to stan-the-man's topic in Interior and In-Car Entertainment
Nice one lads . I think I'll go with open air roof one because I think it's more related to navi than the other ones. The ejector seat would be sweet tho!!! -
Would anyone know if it's possible to code different clocks to a Lupo? I'd love to try, but would like to find as much as possible before I spend the money. Did anyone ever try coding different clocks? I did few with vagcom but in a mk4 golf so I'm not sure if lupo would be the same (SKC code etc). I have a chance to buy one for Gti and 3l cheap so if it's possible I would go for it . I read that Gti ones are totally different but would they be possible to fit in standard Loopy? Also could someone post a pic of the GTi ones. Thanks for any info. Cheers Stan

Hey everyone, I have my eyes on few stubbies I found but all look bit tired (the black part attached to the door), so I was wondering if I could just swap the folding part of the mirror only part to change the bigger drivers mirror we have at the moment?. Anyone done it? Is it possible? I read somewhere that it can be done but just want to hear it from experts first The mirrors in our Loopy are manual. Any info would be great Cheers, Stan

Lupo Switches in Centre Console
stan-the-man replied to stan-the-man's topic in Interior and In-Car Entertainment

Hi folks, Tried to look for similar topic but couldn't find anything really, unless I wasn't looking that hard I want to wire up the garmin unit for the Mrs in the Lupo and I want to hide all the wires etc. I'd like to get a switch to power it on/off and there is plenty of room under the a/c controls (few blank covers there) The question is are there many choices available for the Lupo apart from heated rear window switch? I know there is quiet a few for the Golfs, so perhaps Loopy has them too ? Thanks for any info, Stan

Hi folks, New member living in Ireland just want to say hello to everyone Just bought a Candy White Lupo recently for the girlfriend. She's absolutely mint condition (the car and the Mrs )2002 Candy White 1.4 Auto with 29000 miles. We had to import her from the UK because automatic versions were not available in Ireland as far as I know, at least we couldn't find one Totally standard, at the moment waiting for German plates, and going to put black badges on her too. No alloy wheels either but I'm working on it . She wanted Yaris/Micra but I convinced her otherwise .I myself have been driving 2003 R32 for the past 4 years, so I wouldn't let her get anything else than VW really Will post few pics as soon as I put few bits on her. I think that forum is great and already we found lots of helpful information here, and I hope I'll be able to help as well. Cheers, stan-the-man
