Ok, so when iv been sitting in traffic and not moving the engine temperature rises really quickly to about 110, 120 degrees but once i get moving it drops back to normal. Any idea's on what this may be? I think it could the radiator cooling fan but not compleatly sure and haven't had a chance to look yet.

Its a 25mm rubber grommit that you can get from halfrauds for about 1.50 or theres aways a glass plug of venom motor sport looks a lot better but is a lot more expensive.

Boy at my work got a front plate on hix vx 220 that must be at least half as small as the top pic, he has no problems with it.

I got 900 quid for my polo 6n2, which i thought was quite good for a car that had been crashed and which the gearbox and engine were not aligned so may have been causing maby catastrophic damage. But hey guess it is what you make of it.

Just me or does that not look bloody good fun.

I got 15x8 not sure on offset but tyres still rub quite bad in the arches with 45 profile tyres.

Well i'v had a saxo vtr not to diffrent from 106 gti (yes i know ones an 8 valve and ones 16 before any smart arse points it out) but anyway the lupo feels so much more planted, stable and the build quility is so much better than french cars. As for performance i raced my mates cammed 106gti and he edged it but not by a huge distance so can't be much it in it if both the cars were standard.

I'm 19 payed 6.300 for the car, pay 2800 for fully comp insurence, but i do have a 3 grand claim from when an idiot rolled back in to me at a round about in my old car and a job that likes to pay stupid money to me for doing bugger all really.

Gti is definatly worth the extra money is like a super powered go-kart so much fun to drive and you get a stupid grin you can't wipe off your face, had mine for a week in a half and well my cheeks really hurt. I did think about the 1.4s so glad i spent the extra cash on the gti, plus it looks soooo much better with the arches and fat sumo stance.

One lives not far from me got a photo on my phone post it later. Love that colour same as my last polo, was looking for a lupo gti in that colour but all i found had to high mileage so settled on silver instead.

Ok very weird, my gti does it to. Altho i do have wide deep dish alloys which are cambered. Like above camber of the road doesn't matter and its not affected by acceleration just get quicker with the speed of the car if that makes sence.

Time for me to be a pain in the rear again, was just wondering if theres a place i could get a stubby left hand drive wing mirror that wasn't through vw. Also is it legal to swap it for a lhd one, may be a stupid question but better safe than sorry.

Was just wondering if anyone knows where to get the glass plugs for once the rear wiper is removed. I know some people got them but cant find them anywhere, will be greatful for any help.

Yea got a few plans for it. New Seats hopefully from a scirocco r that i found scrapped, refurb the alloys, Bastuck exhaust system and a few other little bits and bobs. Thats it for now as its all the funds will allow.
