  1. Great show of enthusiasm there! "I want to make stickers for a forum that I can't be arsed to post pictures on". You clearly think there's a quick quid to be made and trust me I've been there selling CL stickers and it's not worth the hassle! If you make stickers at least contribute to the forum rather than taking traffic away onto facebook of all places!

  2. Definitely use a trolley jack. The standard jack can slip very easily and even if you're not under the car you will still end up with a big dent in your sill.

  3. Just a thought but could you put a little silica sachet behind the back cap of the headlight? like the sachets you get in shoe boxes?

  4. Paid 40 for a full set from a 3dr golf a while back, stuck the fronts in the lupo for a few months and sold the backs then sold the fronts. They were the proper recaros also not the blag ones standard GT TDI ones that don't have recaro stitched in. £70 is a fair price for decent conditions, the drivers bolsters are a weak point on them so if they are in great shape £100 isn't too shocking but for just fronts it's a little steep. As rich said getting them to fit is a piece of piss, you don't even need to whack out the grinder unless you want them to slide with ease.

  5. For £200 I know of a complete set of leather recaros with doorcards. I've bought/sold enough sets of the cloth ones to know that £100 for two front seats is an absolute rip. Modding them to fit a Lupo (grinding) isn't a selling point, more the opposite.
