Hi, Ive had my lupo for 3 years and its never let me down, but just over the last couple of weeks things have started going a little pear shaped In a morning when its cold the revs go up and down it only does it a couple of times, but when you set off it doesnt want to go anywhere and starts jumping all over the place, but as soon as you drive it for a bit it gets better but its getting worse as the days go on. Does anyone else have this problem? Also iv never replaced the clutch since I have owned it, I brought the car with 72,000 and its now got 105,000 on the clock, the biting point on the clutch as always been high but now its right at the top of the pedal are all gtis like that or does it need replacing? My exhaust as started making a weird sound when you rev the car, The car never goes over 60mph and I never put ma foot down so I rarely hear the noise does anyone know what it is? Personley i think its f**ked. If so where is the best place to get one, i want the standard gti one. I think thats it lol Cheers

engine wise or just as a whole...th elist is extensive larger TB Different Cams Different ECU map center exhaust shallower wheel well rear discs larger front discs front fogs sport/gti(on later sports) interior different rear bumper.. in all honestly its just not really worth doing if ur just wanting to gte a few more bhps..get a manifold, exhaust and some induction and a rempa should see you getting most bhp without spending silly pointless money

Subframe is 15 min work People here say that you need custom driveshafts. I found that Lupo 1.0 (1.4) right driveshaft fits perfect and for left driveshaft I will use right rear from Mk3 VR6 syncro! Fits perfect on early passat 1.8 cable change geabox with 90mm inner CV joints.

I tried gentle left foot braking once. I nearly went through the windsreen.

tbh i think that is more than likely custom, or wide arches from a similar size car (corsa,saxo) modified to fit

How do you know if they havent already unknowingly to you and them stopped you getting mugged, beaten, having property stolen just from their presence. 99% of the time we have dealings with the police we have either done something wrong or have had something wrong done to us , not the best circumstances to make judgements on how they do their job.

What will they do? Find it burnt out a few weeks later and give me a ref number so I can use it to claim insurance. I think most police do a great job but there are certainly 'plenty' of people in the police force who are on power trips and abuse their status.
