i've removed one side of sidestrips but on the other side they look like they have been stuck on using foam sticky pads and glue, the only problem is the glue is solid and im not sure how to get it off, anybody know how?

Superglue, eek, hope you're wrong! Have you tried heating it?

no mate dont wanna use a heat gun it might damage my paint but i dont think a hair dryer will be hot enough, it really looks like superglue, might be able to get it off but it looks like it will leave a mark :(

I was just thinking heat it up a bit & see if it gets any more pliable. Could try lighter fluid it's what I always use. Don't know of any solvents that will work on superglue though.

i just took about 1cm long off with my nail and i think the clear coats come with it :(

Quite possibly :L you have to remember that you are removing glue attached to your paint, do it the proper way by carefully heating, dental floss underneath and then a microfiber cloth with tar and bug remover and a few hours elbow grease.

The key is patience otherwise your going to do hundreds of pounds of damage

Oh yeah? You've taken off his sidestrips and seen they've been superglued on have you?

Nobody was talking to you so please jog on and be unhelpful elsewhere

He said that they had been superglued. You can pick your handbag up now.

Yeah but he's also trying to take them off without heating them up so they're going to seem like they are stuck on with superglue

Just saying if you aren't going to help him is there any point in commenting?
