looks a clean example, for the wheels i'd go gold or anthracite/dark silver as it goes well with black cars, red looks ok but better on silver cars imo
-
what wheels have you got in mind next mate?

Got them fitted today! Fit an absolute treat, good job I bought camber bolts though because I had to put some camber on to stop my tyres being eaten by my arches, no need to elongate holes they fit straight on and go stupid low for anyone interested, thanks for the help guys

Change the coil pack if that doesn't sort it I'd get a compression test, it's strange you don't have a warning light coming up, mine used to come on when I was flooring it then after a few days came on constantly
-
Personally I'd run them but it depends what the police are like in your area, in mine it doesn't bother them

HELP! grinding calipers to make banded Steelies fit?
lanky28 replied to rhysthrupp's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
The better solution would be to get some spacers -
There not legal but some areas you can run them with no problems, I know people who have ran them for years even with a D on and never had any issues
-
may as well, hopefully it sorts it, I took mine to get the eml code read and the guy who read them owned a lupo gti and he said some people don't use high octane fuel and it can cause the valves to clog up and cause a misfire, worth keeping in mind
-
my gti did this, on cold start it was bad at low revs then used to hold back and judder when giving it some and eventually the eml came on, it was miss firing on cylinder one, changed the spark plugs, still there, changed the leads today and its gone so start with your leads, the previous owner of mine had done the coil pack
-
hi, just wondering if anybody has cut the front silencer out there standard gti exhaust and replaced it with straight pipe, i can't really find any aftermarket exhausts i like that aren't pretty exspensive, just looking for some more noise and/or power
-
They look so good! Can't find any anywhere
