Usually the already have connectors you can just swap, but if not just cut the wires and get some choc blocks and connect them on opposite colours. -
Go on genuine vw parts on the traders section, lupoboz, dale will sort you out.

I have a Sony 1300w sub in my boot more bass than anyone can ever need still have my rear seats and it looks really neat, so if it's just a sub you want there's plenty of room.

A contractor at work has offered to make me some 4x100 to 5x100 adapters and some 15mm 4x100 spacers if I get him some CAD drawings, so of any of you have any a copy would be massively appreciated.

Could well be your headunit that's at fault try your mates sub in yours.

2nd for the toffee wheel I used one on mine to get the sticky crap off exellent tool.

There bumpy, bouncy and they knock but if all you want is cheap lows they will get you there, of it was me I would save up and get AP's I had the Phil j version on my polo and they were horrible not even comparable to the AP's I've put On my loop

To those with 1.4s or sports that may be interested you won't have to drill holes, I have stuck mine on with tiger seal and it looks perfect and is extremely strong! A friend has also done this and that's been on over 2 years now! So bump for a bargain
