Anyone on here a paint specialist or know of anyone who could repair my mark on my front bumper for cheap? As i have been quoted 125-135 by many, and think that's far too much for a mark that size...

Are they quoting to remove, prepare, spray, refit the bumper? If so it doesn't sound too bad.

no that's just a quote for the area to be preped and sprayed.on the car and not even the whole bumper just the effected area. Is this a price to expect as the scuff is soo small?

I would get some more quotes. I was less than £200 for my GTI bumper off, prepped and sprayed and refitted at VW dealer.

The overall bill was more, but I got other stuff done too.

I would take it to some recommended body shops in your area and get quotes.

you would need to get the whole bumper painted for it to look decent anyway... otherwise you will have a shade difference.

I had my bumper painted on my Gti and it was £150 which was a bumper off job and a big repair on the lower half

That's why i think the quotes are two high considering its being done in only that patch and doing it on the car. Can you tell me where you got yours done?

no where near sailsbury Wiltshire...

is this quote from a body shop or is it from a smart repair person?

Hence why you are paying a premium.

Try a recommended body shop in the area. Even remove and refitting the bumper yourself will knock an hour or two off the labour bill.
