AJB-09
Proper broke my drivers wing mirror yesterday but luckily and somehow the glass didn't break nor the back cover just the metal. Are these model specific (i'm on about the metal bit) Are they all the same or do they differ in some way? Rang TPS and from what I think I need it's £120 plus vat and i'm not paying that! Rich
If you're smart you can use the baseplate and repair it with a polo gti stubby which is the cheapest option.
AJB-09
Is this because the Polo's wasn't electric? Are they the same size? Thanks RichAdam
Rich
The polo has an electric mirror, the baseplate is the only difference & it is the cheapest stubby mirror.(maybe the length of wiring too but that transfers)
AJB-09
Would a standard Lupo base plate fit and work?
Rich
yeah but unless you find a standard electric stubby I would just use the one you have to make one.
