Pete
I don't understand the question, are you having running troubles? I'm assuming you are, come on, give us a clue.
scotty_82
I can half confirm your car is not a diesel, unless that might be the issue What's the model, what's the standard gap for that model, what's the gap on this used plug, have you cleaned them prior to this pic, were they wet at all ? Skezza
If it's running lumpy, it could be your HT leads, not just your spark plugs
coopersim
Ok, so I didn't give much away, sorry about that!Looking at the service history they haven't been changed since 2006, which is only about 10k miles ago lolI didn't clean them up, they are as they came out, two were quite loose, and all in the same condition.I've never seen a plug with a tapered end like this, the gap is a thou too bigI'm getting pinking at about 3,500 RPM which made me wonder if it was the plugs - Skezza, HT leads are original, so that could also be an optionPlugs were dry, it's a 1.0 AUC engine
Skezza
Most people change them every so often, but when I had my 1.0, I only changed them when I felt necessary. If the car became unresponsive or lumpy, then I would change the spark plugs. It only happened once in the space of about 50k miles but that has always been my trigger. If you change the plugs you may as well change the leads too, at least once anyway.
