arosa_adam
Hi peeps, first time poster from up here in Newcastle. Picked up a 2003 Arosa 1.0 a couple of months ago as my first car and I have to say its cracking haven't actually done my car test yet, got that booked for April, but hasn't stopped me from ordering a set of Apex coilovers Don't have much else planned for it, so I'll have a look round the forum for some inspiration CheersAdam

arosa_adam
No problem, only got the one at the moment, but here it is!Can't really tell in the pic, but the paint isn't the best, needs a good t-cut session
Al3xTee
Looks a clean example, but don't use T cut! Get some autoglym super resin, then wax. Job done
arosa_adam
Ah sounds good, will need to nip to Halfords and get some. Biggest issues cosmetic wise are the seats, need re-covered at some point, but that's for later they are minging though

Rickpercy87
I have the 1.0 arosa too but in imperial blue. I just passed my test last week and managed to get insurance for the year at £630 today with me the main driver! It's worth looking in the insurance section of this site. I knocked over £400 off! I'm with elephant.
arosa_adam
Congrats on passing your test i'll have to have a look round for insurance, lowest I've had is £1200 through Admiral once I get test done. Saying that though, I'm only 19, so could be worse
Rickpercy87
Cheers mate!Yeah that isn't bad, I'm 25 so maybe cheaper because of that.Insurance is cheaper if-Add 2 additional drivers (preferably with 15+ more years experience)-Remove all security like immobilizer, alarm and tracker (yes this is cheaper if you remove them)-Park it on the street (cheaper than a driveway and much cheaper than a garage)-Put vehicle value to £3,100-Select fully comp-Become a graphics designer as your profession-If you bought your car last year (2012) it also gets much cheaper. Not sure how they can prove this though Let me know if you make it substantially cheaper, remember to declare your mods, though. arosa_adam
Thanks for the tips, but didn't make that much difference, think its just because of my age. Already had another driver on, which I think is why it's so low, but can't get it much lower will call around, see who will give the best deal
