Removing Front Dash

out of interest pal what do you need to do it for?

all I will say is its a bit of a pain.

Steering wheel needs to come off along with indicator stalks.

small side plastics where the bonnet lever is must be removed on both sides.

clock cover need to come off.

centre console around the gearknob and handbreak must come out.

then under the rain tray there are som bolts. - all of these must be undone.

off the top of my head I believe there are some bolts behind the soundproofing in the engine bay but dont hold me to that.

there is probably more but i cant remember! hope that helps!

emanuals on line .com do a good manual for the lupo . all vw info. could save you some time, about a tenner when i bought mine. yes taking out the dash is probably the worst job you could do on a lupo. good luck anyway

I really don't mind taking the dash out, there's loads of worse jobs.

The more you do it the easier it becomes.

This is true, its the same with anything I guess.

(and I haven't found the "how to" yet, its seemed to have vanished from everywhere)
