Central locking Arosa

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

So im having a little trouble with my central locking on my 2001 Arosa s, i have had a new battery fitted to the key but it still doesn't want to work!

The red light flashes when i press the buttons (so i know the key has power)

i have both keys if that helps?

if anyone can help that would be amazing! i miss my central locking!

thanks, Joel.

Google "seat remote key programming" and you should be able to get it working. There seems to be 2 common procedures, one works on the Hella keys and the other is for the siemens key.

I bought a 2nd hand remote key for my OH's Arosa and managed to get it working.

Come back if you get stuck!

Tried all of the different methods... still no luck any ideas?

Having the same bother with mine; plugged it into vagcom and it wouldnt recognise the key, was advised that the comfort module may be on its way out.
