Sammy Lupo
Has anyone got a picture of how low you can really go on the front with the helper still in? also anyone got one with the helpers out at the front? Alot of people say that you don't even have to wind front coilovers all the way down at the front and the bumper is literally on the floor? Thanks guys Edited January 14, 2013 by Sammy Lupo
GTIChris
You'll need a chassis notch before you go that low won't you ?

TArosa
dunno whether this will help but with the helper in you can drop it all the way with on 15" (without a notch) depending on width & et... curious about without the helpers, know you will need a notch but stripped my fk's down and they looked ****ing low, 10mm travel maybes at most low. Ashh
if coils are off the car, compress the helpers by hand, measure. thats how much more of a drop you will gain removing them I imagine all helpers are different lengths etc so. VolkswagenDan
Does anyone known exactly what a helper spring actually does? Seems to be a waste of time including them...
Philplop
They stop the main spring from going loose when the car is jacked up, because if they wobble about then it would fail an MOT.
