DK16V
Well after I've been on vacation to Austria and Italy in our Lupo (4000km over 2 weeks) i must say im VERY pleased with the Red stuff pads! (tested with new standard gold zinked discs). The first 2000km the amount of residue from the pads were very similar to the standard pads, but after the "wear in" bit have been worn off the residue is nearlynon visible! Nice! Residue from the last 2000km of autobahn + curvey mountain road driving left residue on the rims similar to a 100 km drive with normal pads! And the bonus is they brake better than the standard pads, no noise and the rumour regarding bad braking when cold did'nt hold...they have grib from first thread on the pedal. So all in all thumbs up from me! Pete91
I've thought this aswell. I take it easy when driving and don't really do any harsh braking and find myself cleaning brake dusl every second day
