Kam Racing
we should have our engine head back from CatCams on Monday so we'll be able to finish development of a proper inlet manifold that is suitable for throttlebodys soon
truCido
I bought an inlet manifold from Belgium that was suitable for throttle bodies and thats where I think catcams is based??
Kam Racing
CatCams had our head just for developing cams - they're not who'll be making our manifold.. I only know of one company making inlets that would fit but they were not ideal for the car - would be interested to know who made yours - if it has any markings on it could you send over a pm as if can get better prices through them will be able to reduce the price of the kits we'll offer.. Kam Racing
cool cheers for that, will have a word with them. was it this one you got? http://chadil.be/en/node/338think last time worked it out 40mm inlets looked a better option for the car though IIRC
CasperGTI
I haven't yet seen a inlet manifold with the cloverleaf port inlet the GTi head has, i have a dblias one and have had to port match it for my plenum.or does the chadil one have it? truCido
I think I got: http://chadil.be/en/node/329 I'd have to check back through some emails! The Sport has the cloverleaf port inlet like the GTi. The Chadil one is just oval and the 3rd bit is just missed out. You can see in this pic the gasket I made:http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg106/truCido1/2011-05-08164732.jpg
CasperGTI
Thats the same port shape that i have, you can port match it but i don't know what it does to the airflow entering the engine.
