swf7y
I was just wondering what is the best head unit for playing songs from an iPod and iPhone. It needs to have a cd player and at least 3 pre-outs preferably 4v.
C-DuBz
I've got one of these in my gti PIONEER AVH-4400BT - Car CD DVD MP3 Bluetooth Stereo USB Aux iPod iPhone 7" LCD. Best stereo I've ever had, it's got everything you want and more. Very high quality sound too.

C-DuBz
Nope, when my iPhone is connected by BT I can select BT music and it streams perfectly. You don't get track or album name but you can skip forward and backward.

p900rty
Ave got an alpine Ida x100 and I love it. Had it 4 years now. ( got it for my 18th) was £300 at the time but worth it I would say you can't play CDs unless you buy a cd auto changer. But iPods are so much more tidy with no boxes lying around. TomCanham
Ive just bought a Sony BT3900U, Got my iphone in a cradle in the window while its streaming music to the headunit. You get the choice of it displaying the song name or the artist, Comes with a remote control so people in the back could control music.Has a front and rear aux input and a usb on the front also has a CD player. When my iPhone is connect the head unit display shows phone batterylife, and if someone rings you displays the name of the contact thats calling you and plays their voice through the car speakers, I combine this is iPhone's Siri feature for handsfree calling.I payed £139.99 new from Halfords. Definitely worth it.
