I'm planning on remapping my tdi loop, but wanting to add a few mods before hand to get the best from it.

What relatively simple and reliable mods are available for the TDI?

Been thinking about bigger injectors, stainless exhaust, K&N panel filter...?

The idea more power from mods that look OEM "bar shiny shiny exhaust hidden under car, haha" and won't have any ill side effects like a shredded turbo :D

Are their any gains to be gone gotted from a shiny exhaust on a tdi??

I'm no TDI expert, but i'd be doing the following;

- Researching if the PD130 turbo will fit (i think it may)

- If the above works, then matching injectors, otherwise standards will probably do.

- Possibly uprated FPR

- Turbo back exhaust (2.5" bore) with straight through boxes and a decat.

- Front mount intercooler

- Uprated panel filter with larger ducting

- Aggressive remap with much increased boost pressure.

Do some research and see what can be done. All the answers are contained within google.

Cheers for the replies

Haha, I already have a cork board that looks like something from a serialkillers house xD

"if the serialkiller was plotting to upgrade a lupo that is"

What's the score with straight throughs and MOTs these days?

and are there any particular exhausts I should be looking at in regards to lowend, top end, torq manipulation?
