99hjhm Posted December 2, 2011 Report Share Posted December 2, 2011 Lupo GTI Uprated Lower Engine MountBought a new lower engine mount and had it modified by nfbr, but I already had the casting resin to modify it myself, so did this one(Old one off my car).I have filled the voids in the bush so it still retains the flex in the rubber, that shouldn’t lead to a harsh vibration at idle. Mine has been awesome, great improvement under braking and gearchanges are better due to less movement of the engine/gearbox. You can’t buy these in the shops!I have had the mount professionally painted in 2K gloss black.They are around £70 from VW new for a std one.£45 posted, but possibly exchange with your old one.Payment via Paypal gift.
