Ashh
I've got some Meg's metal polish from work for free because the lid had a crack so it was free to first dibs!Basically im after polishing my engine to make it a little more attractive? Just after an idiots guide on how to polish it up, starting from its current rather dull looking state! Or if its even possible?Cheers, Ash! BEP51
if u keep the cover on u can polish the two visible strips without much hassle. just start with a coarse sandpaper, then keep going finer going over all the previous score marks before going to a finer paper, eventually wet and dry, then just rub in the polish. BEP51
start with the most coarse u can get hold of, if u cant get really coarse stuff, just use the roughest u can find, just will take longer with finer papers. Ashley
To do the cam cover I doubt you will need to start with the coarsest grade you can get. I would recommend starting at P120, work your way up to P2000 / P2500 and then work the polish. It's simple .Ashley
Davesport
I done this it took along time but worth it in the end if doing this by hand it took me like 2 hours each strip that was taking my time mind
