However the amount of mixed reviews and bad press he has had I'm not to sure about using him again. Cheers boys and girls I will have a look into these others! LiamD Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 what are you after doing to your car?ACR specialise more in engine conversions, wiring looms, custom fabrication.maybe not the cheapest, but the end product is nice...a Rado they built won best Corrado at UD this year too (oem 20vt swap, Rado clocks, VAG management, etc)i think they did a lot of the engine/chassis work on this mk2 as welli could probably carry on all day with what cars they've built. You could do a 100 remaps and one person could have a problem arise afterwards and blame it on the remap, as it's the last thing they've had done. But when you look at some of the problems that they state and you think; how would that have been effected by the remap? After the last place ****ed it up.they rebuilt the engine which a certain respected VW tuner completely ****ed up.they also did the welding for the smooth bay, well they pretty much rebuilt the whole front end of the car.they also did Jonny Cocker's Mk5 Golf and Audi S3 which I'm sure you'll know, and bits on his TT-RS.
