Oaten
My front windscreen wiper arms are looking a little grubby so I want to take them off and give them a clean upHere comes the silly question on how to get them off! I undone the nut on the top of the arms but how do I get the arm off the bolt? ThanksWill
Silver!
If they are tight you could use a puller if you have access to one.I used one once and the next time I needed to do it I used a claw hamer, some cardboard padding and some gentle leaverage.Oh and patience. treblet
Plenty of WD40 and a bit of leverage as Ray says.Be warned when they do come loose they'll come flying off!!

marcusgrant
I've just had to take mine off as i refurb them, bit of a pain to get off!Like jamie said, bit of wd40, let it soak through. I put the bonnet down, lift the wiper to its upright position (90* to the windscreen), then wobbled and pulled!
