Diagnostics Port on 99 Arosa TDI

I looked behind the heating controls and the ash tray but cant seem to find anything so wonder if I am missing something or looking in the wrong place or if it even exists?

not sure where they are on yours but most manufacturers generally put them under the dash above the pedals sort of area, sometimes near your fuse box, behind an easily removable panel on drivers side lower dash, behind a easily removable panel in the center console. ive got a 98 1.4 mpi arosa and mines above the fuse box that is located behind a panel at the right hand side of the steering wheel low down on the dash. yours obviously is a different engine so might be slightly different but id try there. good luck.

I have an 02 plate arosa tdi and it's behind the ash tray.

I wouldn't have thought that they'd have moved it between models and years.

Yes, it's the same on my car (just to make clear, you have to open the ashtray/lighter cover flap, then lift out the ashtray insert, then you can see it)

You confused me there, a 99 Arosa TDi! Only 1.7SDis were made in 99 in the S1 body.

So yours should be the same as the other S1 above, above the fuse box.
