jon_273
Yes the TT clocks fit well! But whats going on with the wiper stalk?Maybe its for variable speed on the intermittent setting, because I would really like that on my car, hmmm... nfbr
2.0T-FSI Conversions are a lot more difficult than a 1.8 20v Turbo conversion. The main issue being that the FSI engines rely on the Can bus system. This means that a FULL VEHICLE LOOM Transplant will need to be made, replacing the convenience ECU's, Central locking ECU's clocks, immobiliser ECU, steering control ecu and slip ring and the whole lot with those from a T-FSI Doner car. The essentials would be putting an entire Golf 5 GTI car, Inside a Lupo shortening and altering the wiring as need be.Once you've done all that you have the issue of finding a compatible gearbox with the engine which will actually fit into the lupo, and also having driveshafts made up to the correct specification.Maybe its for variable speed on the intermittent setting, because I would really like that on my car, hmmm...That 0120 slider switch is for the multi function display! Mitchell
as al say's really , i travelled all the way to london for one for mine on the promise it was all there ,waited 5 hours for him to say look i have it at my other unit i'll post the wiring etc up......................yeh whatever, been offered a few more but these are without the system so pointless allthough a certain orange dutch mk2 had one fitted in pvw magazine and they had managed to get a drive for a distributor on the cam, no idea how and the feature failed to mention it, you could see the orange cap protruding under the cover, i'll try to find a picture. nfbr
There are also so many things that you have to have connected to the Can-bus ECU even if you aren't running certain functions! A friend of mine has had his Bora at a Tuning specialist for 18 months so far and they've still not managed to get it running! The engine has been in for over a year lol.
