cl worst car 2010

it looks like im going to need to recondition my gearbox as i have lost 1st gear now its been on its way out for a while i was just wondering if anyone knew any good places i am based in london aswell i have looked around was just looking for personal prefrences really anything would help. also if it is worth looking at a second hand box? cheers tarrier

basicly i went over a bump to quick or hit a ditch on the motorway and ive lost this square plastic bit off the front bumper its on the passengers side either side of the grill and also i snapped abit off the lower part of the front bumper. anyways i was just wondering if there is a place you can buy all these parts or isit either straight from vw ( i hope not) or from like broken lupo gti's? tarrier.

i was just wondering why no1 does 2.0t conversions into there lupo isit to do with the weight or just the hassle of it all or the size of the engine? im not looking to do it just simply wondering.

my bro owns a garage and we got an auto electrian (not sure if spelling is right lol) to come in but i have bought a new headlight from vw which was like 250 but i might need the other ignitor part which is another 250 such hassle. but since ive had my car obviously i havent looked at the lights but it looks like the previous owner had a knock becuase it was in bad shape screws missing. thats why im not sure about a second hand one rather just now that it wont go wrong again ( i hope)

ive basicly been told i need a whole new headlight and i was wondering if anyone has bought one brand new or got one off ebay or whatever because vw are saying that it is in two parts both costing about 250 each that just seems alot to me but i was just wondering if anyone can help out? thanks

i was just wondering if you found any manifolds that fitted straight without bending or anything ? sorry to be abit off topic tarrier.

basicly i went to the exhuast place near me called torque ( usally really helpful) but i went there and told him im looking for a system.when i told him i wanted a manifold he said my engine is too small in my gti and there would be too much free flow , im pretty sure a few people have them on here i was just wondering if people found this to be true or if he just couldnt be bothered to make a new one. thanks in advance for any help tarrier.

any need or that no so shut up if you cant discuss something properly then dont talk about it at all and grow up lol calling people bell ends you just sound like a chav. and yes i am listening to everything your saying and if you were listening to me then you would of read that i have no mods on my car so it is a standard lupo for second time of saying it. and yes i do have valid insurance because i am allowed to drive the car because i am an additional driver just because my nan is the owner and main driver doesnt meen i cant have a few of my things in the car also. i think alot of you seem to think i just bought this over the internet and didnt look into it lol and i love the way that you all seem to know more then me about my own insurance policy. if i am to put mods on the car WHICH I HAVENT yet i will call them up and see if whatever that mod may be is elligable. i know that if i crash right now i will get the book price for the car but by putting the car's worth from 4-6 to 5-10 the premium didnt change that much and they said it would be cheaper if you were to put anything into the car that wasn't like engine mods. and my nan paid the insurance up front. ps calm down its just insurance tarrier

defcon how sad do you sound jeez, so your saying you always go at 70 on a motorway because your a law abiding citizen. abit out of context but same thing really. and casper if someone hits me they pay for the damage i hit them the insurance companies pays for it , i cant live life thinking what if i crash into a family saloon. and yes i know i have to declare the mods i have and how much there worth but it worked out cheaper to up the price of the cars worth then add on the mods when i get them and it doesnt change the policy that much. plus i am not limited to the amount of time i am allowed to drive the car because i am a additional driver not a named driver i just found out. tarrier

just saying how it sounds and to be honest the insurance companies are fraudsters themselves so i dont particularly care that much neither should you tarrier. ps loopz your right but it is in my nans name she lives near me and she is a relatively young nan aswell lol i dunno why people take it to heart so much.

i'm not diggin myself a hole im just explaining what i have done, so look my nan rang up and asked all this questions before paying 1300 pounds yes i am not the main driver but i am allowed to drive the car and i could have just been driving it by chance when i had a crash. i belive you are 22 years old so im pretty sure i know more 17 year olds then you do and alot of my friends , people i work with and even on top gear they did it lol? to me you just seem to be a little bitter that a 17 year old is driving the same car as you. tarrier

lol fronting, i have declared that i will be driving the car so if i was to crash then i would be insured as i am 'allowed' to drive the car thats the point. how would they know i am the main driver and considering most 17 year olds have to do this now the insurance companies know about it. if it was illegal they wouldn't let people do it. i have put the price of the car to 5000- 10k which covers mods like rims no engine mods. casper my insurance is not void as i am a named driver with no mods currently , basicly meaning i can drive the car when i want but i am not the main driver. there is no way for them to know as i said before?

dude i took mine to vw garage near me , you need to give concent (dw but spelling is wrong :S) before they can just take your gearbox out as it is quite exspensive in itself i dunno wot happened to you lol 620 for a clutch? tarrier

i take it you didnt clean your car for crail as u have a big roadkill on your bonnet of most of them pictures lol , you should of bought a 106 their forum is your kind of thing. lupo's dont need body kits and big boar exhausts and people say they are sick of the same thing thats because it looks good , there is being diffrent and then there is being silly. you can do what you want to your 'own' car but you dont see people painting there bentley bright green its just common sense. tarrier.

go with co-op insurance they arent a broker so they are pretty good but be a named driver and just put your cars 'worth' up so you can drop it low and stuff just dont touch the engine until your on ur own insurance thats how us 17 year olds do it 1300 on a gti baby tarrier

they seem really keen to help when i ring them and i know they dont hold alot of stock but i work in retail and there is nothing worse then telling a customer that you have it in stock when u dont becuase it will just make it worse. but a phone call wouldnt go a miss i will ring them on monday to refund it i guess.

i ordered a pair of fk coilovers from them and they said they were in stock and should be with you in 2 - 3 days this was at the start of the month then they 'were lost in the post' this is before the mail strike. so they said more were comin in few days later so i rung up they had come in and they were supposed to be here 2 days ago then yesterday and its gettting to be a joke , anyone else had a problem like this? tarrier.

ok im pretty sure this has come up alot already but i dont know the answer so here goes. what makes up the gti in my lupo gti is it all the little extras? have they tuned the engine in any way? its buggin me tarrier. thanks for any help in advance
