jeyesh
Im selling the lupo next week but want to sell it with new tyres.I really wouldn't want to put 205/50/15 tyres on my gti. They will scrub on your arches. If you are thinking of using a cheap option then go for 195/45/15 tyres as there is a more wider range.

MotorSportWorld
S Drives are a good all round tyre for the money. Much better than T1Rs. We run them on my mates 400bhp Corrado Turbo and they put up well Garry

I plan to run the 205-45-15 on the back and 195's on the front. will this cause any issues. I am hoping this will take away the tweaky nature of the lupo back end by putting slight slimer tyres on the front.Does anybody think this is a bad idea. i am going to place the order tomorrow. Silver!
I ran 205/45 on the rear and 195/45 on the front for about a year and it was fine for me.Now down to 195/45 all round though, but with 20mm spacers on the rear.Scrubs when more than 2 up and on larger dips and bumps. 99hjhm
Are you changing 2 or 4 tyres... If buying 4, get 195/45's... far cheaper.
