  2. cool, thanks. that has mad my mind up
  3. So this would be a good option to put on the front. I plan to run the 205-45-15 on the back and 195's on the front. will this cause any issues. I am hoping this will take away the tweaky nature of the lupo back end by putting slight slimer tyres on the front. Does anybody think this is a bad idea. i am going to place the order tomorrow.
  4. has anybody used Yokohama S.Drive 195/45 R15 W ??? what are they like?
  5. I thought there was quiet a large space between the arch and the currect tyre. has this been tried? the shocks are standard. has anybody tried?? thanks

  9. Well is got all the standard speakers but head unit upgraded and 6 disk built into the back side compartment. Alarm has loads of extras and remote start can be added for £100 to the G4. Yeah just had a saches clutch fitted. take it Vw and they say its the cleanest 6 year old car they have ever seen. Only reason for selling as moved out and need the cash otherwise would not sell it as its never gone wrong on me.
  10. ok, cool. i thought about 6k. well its going on sale in january. Tax and mot till april. 6k it is.
  11. How much would you say the below is worth. Will be placing the car for sale in January: VW Lupo GTI 2002, 54k miles, moondust silver, No mods (all standard). Comes with Full VW service history, every bit of work carried out by VW, Cambelt change at 43k, oil change every 5k, New clutch fitted a week ago and just had service. 2 new tyres. Its the 6 speed model so all standard bits, comes with Alpine head unit, alpine 6 disk changer, clifford G4 alarm system. Car is in great condition but has 1 very, very minor dent on rear wheel arch. Apart from that its all good So what you think ??
  12. Any ideas how much its worth??
  13. yeah. it had the cambelt done at 42000 at VW I am located in kent cheers
  14. 02 Lupo GTI, moon dust silver, 53k, full VW service history, oil change every 5k since 40k, 6 Speed, Alpine head unit, custom built in 6 CD changer in rear. Very well maintained, only 1 very minor/tiny dent on rear arch. Had new disks and pads 5k ago. I will be selling in the near future. cheers
  15. do they do eagle f1's in a 205-45-15. I use Toyo's. Very good in the wet but tyre wear is bad.
  16. lokking for a new set from a shop. thanks anyway
  17. anyone know of any good places which fit the 205-45-15 toyos or dunlops in the southeast london area?
  18. I found that the knocking in the boot area was the rear head rest. Give it a push and see if it moves
  19. got number three. I have been told that this is water comming through the spoiler. You will soon find bubbles under the spoiler were water has dripper through.
  20. if this a common fault is there any chance of vw sorting it out for free?
  21. Is this a common fault fo the rear spoiler to bubble?. Car is highly poished and well looked after. No chip scartches etc
  22. better to have the ass end out in the wet than have the front end go on you. At least it can be controlled. The best thing is it put tyres with allot of tread on the front and near slicks on the back. It fun!!!!!
  23. if the car is understeering pull the hardbrake!!!!
  24. its standard U bad person Guess so
  25. im not michael but i used to race. Prob why i am looking for a new exhaust. I used to have a fiesta 1.2 zetec and round a street circuit it is miles ahead of the gti. Of couse it is slower but it handled like it was on rails. So i guess you would not believe me if i told you last weekend it gave a Ferrari 430 a lesson it will never foget.
