Just a small update. Found a set of dust caps in my Grans old house. Thought I'd see if they'd fit.

Looks like I'll be keeping them.

Major updates may be happening in the next couple of months, expecting some money from a Bond.

@ Ben, the petrol flap will be going red very soon. Got bored of how it breaks the back up.

YAY! A half decent update.

These turned up this morning. Awesome service once again from Awesome GTI

5mm spacers for the front. Should stop the scrubbing on the inside of the arch. Added bonus of making the car sit better. Oh, and they weigh bugger all aswell.

Drilled out lower shock mounts today, with help from my Dad of course.

3 reasons for doing it.

1: The shock will be compressed less when driving normal, wich will increase comfort

2: Less stress on the shocks, less likely to blown them.

3: Springs dont fal out at full extension, wich means I wont need to put the adjusters back in for MOTs.

Spent the day down Southsea Seafront on sunday for Beach Buggin'.

Was a pretty cool show. Had my bonnet up for a while just for a giggle. Had fun watching people stare into the bay trying to figure out what is special about it. It's just got green bits. lol

Couple of new pics.

The air vent covers just pull out. On the drivers side you need to unscrew the cover on the bottom and turn the light dial all the way round a push it in.

The dial cover has a couple of screws on the under side and the centre consol is screwed in, you need to take out the radio and cubby hole thing first though.

Prep was a good clean with hot soapy water, to get rid of any grease, oil etc, a light sand down with 1200 grit and then primered.
