scotty_82
If you have snooped about your loop/arosa you would know.Bottom ones are fully all round adjustable coilovers , the top are front coils and rear shocks with an adjustable spring via a platform Edited August 16, 2009 by scotty_82
Philplop
The bottom ones are Polo coilovers, and won't fit on a Lupo.
AlexTRea
Cheers, that solves that problem (Y)
cobblers
In that picture, the top ones won't fit either because they have no tab to mount the strut to the hub carrier. A lot of these ebay sellers use a "stock" photo, which isn't of the actual coilovers you'll get.

Unheard
So as this topic has clearly served its purpose i can now jump on it and air a passing thought. Surely it would only take minimal work to modify the Lupo to take the true rear coilovers from the polo setup. I am surprised i have not seen it done before as it would allow you to modify the mounting point at the same time so the car could be dropped as low as you require.I better not think about that too much i may talk myself into doing it. I miss my mini days when i broke out theangle grinder and welder when ever i didn't like the way something was on the car. I don't need to find an excuse on the Lupo for a few more years yet
AlexTRea
Yeah i know what you mean UnHeard I dont know how it it set up and everything but surely the polo suspension system and the lupo one will be built around the same bases, but as i said i know nothing on how it works

Philplop
mk4/5 (6n/6n2) Polos have proper rear coilovers, later ones have seperate springs and shocks.
