chrisbwy
Hi All,Searched the forums and can't find a simple "how to change" guide for the air filter and pollen filters on a GTI.ThanksChris Hargreaves
GT_Aiiii
Open the bonnet and on the passenger side under the windscreen you will see a flap with a few screws holding it on. Remove the screws and the cover and u will then see the pollen filter. Then simply just unclip the surround from the filter and pull it out. mukilupo
Hi, pollen filter as above ,just take care when you replace cover as its a tight fit or it may split the pastic. As for Air filter ,lift engine cover from front and gently pull towards you again take as the rear two rear brackets are easily broken, then remove 6/7 screws to get to the air filter. Good luck. Edited April 29, 2009 by mukilupo
