mStation MP3 in car player

All the rage seems to be the `i-pod` although I dont have any use for one, as I use the car more then walking I wondered if anyone has one of these as they are getting alot cheaper on ebay.

Checking the search facility they were last mentioned back in 2002.

Or there seem to be these RF leads which uses a blank FM signal using any portable MP3 player, although I doubt the quality is that good.

QUOTE(twisty `b-road`)
I had a CD player using an FM modulator, I wouldn't buy one again!

You lose too many of the lower and higher frequencies

Cheers mate, you have just stopped me bidding on a Mini iPod.

I think I will wait till someone else buys an adptor lead from Alpine, and listen to theres.

Everyone I know mods cars, Im sure someone will buy one soon.

I keep thinking, I should buy a VW dash multi changer, and a Gamma headunit and spend £100 on a line driver.

I really like the look of the Lupo dash, when all the dash is lit up.

Doesnt look as good with a aftermarket headunit there, and a tray that the girlfriend stores all rings, coins, phones, fags, lighters... down.

I just dont want to add any more deleys in getting a system back in.

I sold two very good amps to buy one fantastic amp, perfect for my sub, and ended up worst off than I was when my old sub died! lol

I dont know if I have the energy to piss about anymore.

After I get my pioneer stereo sometime in the next million years I'll probably buy the ipod cradle and connection kit as I use my ipod in the car now and love it, using a crappy tape adaptor though so the sound is ropey to say the least.
