I guess the grilles pry off but I don't want to mess them up! I'll post pics of the boot build as me and my joiner mate Daz get stuck into it. nfbr Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 Get yourself a thin flat blade jewellers screwdriver and slip it in the gap between the Inner edge of the tweeter housing and pry it out. They pop out really easily and then un-plug as a seperate unit.You will need to seperate the original tweeters from the housing. Remove the grilles off your new tweeters and glue them to the back of the tweeter housing.Its not quite as hard as it sounds just make sure you get a set of tweeters that are the right size to fit through the dash and to the back of the housing.
