  1. Hi everyone. I picked this old Audi up off a mate last week. Its not in bad nick put it through an MOT as it was nearly out and got the disabled tax off it so it's now taxed as a normal car. Not really sure what I'm gonna do with it now as I had big plans which probably won't happen.... too many projects!! Here's a bit about the car.... 1981 Audi 80 GLS Automatic in Alpine White with 61000 miles from new. Sunroof, 4 electric windows, central locking and front fogs 1600cc 85bhp engine, 3 speed auto box. MOT until August 5th 2012 Tax until end of December 2011 Stuff I've done so far.... New spark plugs, fuel, oil and air filters and fresh engine oil, New rubber carb base flange as it had a split in it, Cleaned out carb's jets and put through MOT which it passed with a couple of advisories bringing me to... Stuff I will do.... New front to rear brake pipes and a couple of exhaust clamps to cure minor blow for the advisories Repaint wheels Bad bits.... Has a few rust spots the worst bits being the leading edge of the bonnet and bottoms of the wings. Rest of the paint is very good tho. End of the driver's sill has been patched at some point which is the only welding I think its had done The is a dent it the driver's rear arch. More pics to follow as I get my clean on! Either way it won't take much to make it a really tidy car. Would look awesome lowered on period alloys.... lowering shocks and springs are only £150 plus post on ebay. I just have way too much on to do her justice. I value it at around £675.... If this was a manual I bet it would be worth much more! I'm open to swaps (retro or VAG) Will price it at £675 ono Car is located in Skegness, Lincolnshire Please contact me for more info, cheers! Tom

I will not courier it. It located is Skegness, Lincolnshire. If your interested get intouch on 07815599519. Cheers Tom
  3. Shell got twisted, depending how level the ground is where you park it you either open the passenger door or you don't! Alsothe roof its either floppy or tight depending on the ground lol!
  4. No slammage pics yet but looks like this, only its 80mm lower now lol only done 27k, loads of history. Just got to get wide 13s on it and spray the bonnet and bootlid body colour again! Inspirational photo!!!!
  5. Well on Dec 6th my Lupo DIED! Got hit be an uninsured **** in a Subaru who drove off. In the hands on the police now but ain't heard ought yet. Really p-ed off as best little car I've owned. Running around in a mint Volvo 340 slammed on the G60s for the moment while I finish my Mk1 Polo but decided I will get another Loop! If the MIB don't pay out I'll break her up for spares.
  6. Posting this up on behalf of my mate Toby who organises it. Thats Right folks VivaskegVegas is back again. This year 9th May Held at Xsite skate park and also to help raise money for the park Xsite skatepark is a local charity (Reg charity number 1108889) this year the entry fee remains a credit crunch busting three pounds payable on the gate this will ensure us to keep our dream alive both Xsite skatepark and VivaSkegVegas for 2010 thank you for your support The venue: Xsite skate park, North parade, Skegenss, Lincolnshire, PE25 1BA Xsite skatepark is a multimillion skate park, which myself and friends from an early age were into VW's & Skatebording and as we have progressed we all are still into them and fortunately through our skateboarding days a few of us founded the organisation that got the skate park to where it is now, so we think its only fair to offer a new kind of date to the vw calendar for this year and hopefully many to come.... 'show and shine' This will be open to both classes, air and water cooled, with trophies for best of aircooled, and for best of watercooled, furthest travelled... and Best of Show best club display So get polishing. Yet again special trophies made and donated by Bobby Wilcox of Milk&Two, Road House Retro and more to be announced Trade Stalls. As last year we will have a larger selection of trade stalls (PM me for pitch reservation) Raffle. various prizes will post a comprehensive list as it grows 'skatepark' Every one attending the show will be allowed a discounted entry to the skatepark and discount hire charges on equipment hire might be available, or bring your own!! to avoid disapointment There will be Pro skate demos throughout the day by Vans UK skate team. Plus beach displays 'autojumble area' there will be a set area for auto jumbel the pitch will be FREE PM me for reservation, so if youve got any bits you wanna swap/sell, bring em along who knows you might make a few quid!! 'parking' There will be a set area for the show and shine. Plus a regular car park, which will have a very limited Non VW parking area. Any body wishing to have a club stand PM and we will reserve a space for you and your set number of cars This year we have the whole carpark !!!! 'safety' safety is prime concern at this show to make sure everyone is safe and no people are taking advantage of open spaces etc... those deemed to be causing problems will be asked to leave via security staff, any more problems and the police will be involved (station across the road), safety in the skate park is also a concern, any one wishing to use the the park will be asked to sign a disclamier/membership form so as to any injuries are at your own risk. why not make a night of it , theres plenty of decent hotels to stop at and skegness nightlife is 2nd to none, please find below links to the skatepark venue and a couple of hotels which are some of the best around which you could possibly stop in if you wanted to make a night of it, there is cheaper alternatives ie: bed and breakfast these are plenty and range from £15 a night but you get what you pay for!! i can only describe skegenss as a very clean mini blackpool.... Check below for links to skatepark/venue and a couple of decent hotels... skegness is here http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...&scale=2000000 http://www.xsiteskatepark.co.uk/ http://www.royalrenaissance.co.uk/ http://www.bedandbreakfastsguide.com...kfasts_936.asp Its you the dubbers out there that make these shows/meets what they are so show some support and give it a go!! TO EVERY ONE WHO ATTENDED LAST YEAR A VERY BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT hope to see you in May Viva Skeg Vegas Crew any sponsers are welcome, or people wishing to donate prizes for raffle etc..
  7. Not done much as of yet. Its cold outside lol!
  8. Thanks everyone. Couldn't have done it without my Dad tho! He's the bodywork pro. I've got to teach myself next time with my mk1 Polo which fortunately ain't anywhere near as bad as what this was lol!
  9. Thought I'd post some pics of my Loop from how it looked when I got it to how it looks now. Had a whack in the N/S/R. Also the tail gate and N/S door had took a tap too! Only had 21k on the clock and full VAG service history! N/S of the rear beam was bent giving an impressive camber to that side's wheel! Quick trip to local scrappy for the door, tail gate and rear beam. Genuine N/S/R quarter panel was found on ebay and bought for £75 including delivery!!! Painted, set of Weitec coilovers and a bargain set of 15X7 Intra alloys For £100 with nearly new tyres from a lad on the local VW forum and she's there for now. Just need to sort my sounds in it. Hoping to sort some 14s or 13s for it and go lower too. Loving it already. Better on fuel than my old mk2 and cheaper to insure! Just what I wanted so I can afford to go nuts with my mk1 Polo!
  10. Nice one! I can get on with this when I have a free moment now.
  11. Hi there. Before I go running in to fit my new components, amps etc into my Lupo I was just wondering how they come out? I guess the grilles pry off but I don't want to mess them up! I'll post pics of the boot build as me and my joiner mate Daz get stuck into it. I'm much more at home welding stuff together than cutting and gluing MDF!

    Hello

Thanks. The Polo rocks even though it has its own pond at the mo with all the rain. My Golf's gone to a mate, the Polo no has the teardrops and the Lupo is nearly on the road!
