MacGTR
I have just got myself a Lupo 100hp as a daily driver. It looks waaaay to high IMO, so I was thinking of lowering it a bit but it needs to be sensible. Here it is at the min...Everything is standard and has the standard 100hp/sport wheels and tyres (don't know the size and offset but someone on here must?) How much do you think I could lower it by just using aftermarket springs but without damaging my shocks? What is the general limit? Or is it best to pay that bit more for some ~£200 coilovers? Also would it be a good idea to buy some spacers for the back? about 15-20mm?Thanks guys and gals Edited February 5, 2009 by MacGTR
tomflyer
i dont know about the spacer issue but i dropped my 1.0e 40mm on springs and it sits perfect and is useable and comfortable. dont know if thats much help

electricpanda
Check my reader ride, I have a sport aswell on standard wheels and tyre's (for the moment )I do have coilovers though and I'm probably down around 80mm.. Have a deek anyway might help you. Feel free to ask me any questions about the suspension!! Edited October 26, 2008 by electricpanda
biggaz
Sports on standard rims with good lowerage look nice imo, spend the money on the coils though, when coming to sell you can raise it up and still offer decent ride. Or sell them in p/x for some springs.
heartagram
If your not wanting to slam it on its hoop then your best of investing in a good shocks and springs kit. It'll cost you around the same as some cheap coilies but it will give you a much better ride.
