Can we make a list of known wheels on sports and how much of the caliper was shaved off the front and rears to get them to fit? I would love to put some 13's on my car but I don't want all the hassle of trying different wheels!

So, what actual part of the exhaust is this? where does the other end fit onto? ha

Its been a while since I have been on here. So busy with everything else I have had no chance to work on the car much, it has just been sitting in the garage. After an incident one of my lovely Ronals looked pretty sorry for itself so I set about finding a set of winters as the weather was changing and screw cleaning in between all those spokes every day! So, found some pepperpots that looked up for the job. Whacked 'em on and it was looking pretty good I thought. Seriously dirty but, oh well... Finally, I have got around to sorting my Ronals out, got two new wheels and they are just about to be sent off to the painters so they match. Then some new stretched tyres. Pretty sure I am going for some 165/50/15's now, Bridgestones a good bet? Is there any tyres a bit cheaper and have the same nice tyre wall stretch as the bridgestones? Then i'll be ready for summer and hopefully get myself to some meets!

Was that me? I have a red star sticker on the back bumper. I have seen another black sport around, but never known who it is.

mmm, okay. Still unsure of what I should do. I have 15 7.5J's ET25 and not sure wether to stretch or go low profile any advice?! Thanks

Where is the best place to get cheap 165/50/15's? They should be good on 7.5J's right? I'm not going to get the bead breaking on hard driving am I? Or am I better going with 175's?

What are the specs on your wheels and tyres, i am trying to get an idea of how much stretch im going to need on mine to avoid rubbing.

I have gone down a pothole, great. I'm in the process of claiming off the council and I want to get some quotes from garages on the cost of matching the colour and repainting one wheel. Where is the best place to get this work done in and around Bucks? I am currently in Princes Risborough for a month so would best if its around there. If they can put a new tyre on it as well, that would be even better.

I chose a hammer, an even cheaper option Also, do you have any idea where I can get the pepperpot centre caps? I have a couple of the chrome rings missing off mine and it is annoying me. I have looked all over to no avail.

What size adapters are you running on the front? I have 25mm all round and I am as low as I can on the back, and its all fine so far. I am tackling rolling the front arches tomorrow, and then I should be able to wind the coilovers down to the bottom with some camber hopefully . How have you got on with the front?

I need some inspiration. I want to refurb my audi pepperpots, they are getting tired and corroded so they need some attention. I was thinking along the lines of white or black, I have seen white and red, and black with polished lips but I want to do something different again. My lupo is black so if I go black, it will have to have some other colour on it, as I am no fan of black on black. Also, does anyone know where I can get the chrome rings that go around the centre cap? I bought the wheels with two missing so could do with some new ones.

I got told the sensor would be around £100 fitted. That was just off the top of the guys head though.

Well, the exhaust gas light has come on! (The one with an engine picture and CHECK written under it) It has been sitting in the garage for a month or two without any movement, got back from London and I needed to fix the window switch, so I drove over to the scrappy and got the window switch. Fixed the window, and as I was driving out of the scrappy the light came on. I assume its the Lambda sensor as it has been sitting still for a while. What's the damage on getting a new one? It's booked into the garage for next week, but I should be fine driving it around as it doesn't sound lumpy or anything, right?

Seriously? I was down about 100mm all round on standard sport wheels and they are exactly the same spec as your wheels and tyres I think and I had no problems what so ever...

May as well do it on here rather than making another thread, I should be okay with clearance and no scrubbing on 195/50/15 on a et36 15" 6.5J wheel right?

I have still never been to a meet and need to get myself to on when the new wheels are on. Where are the bucks vag ones held? and where is the convoy leaving from?
