r44my_k
hi, im currently looking to buy a lupo tdi, what sort of price should i be looking to pay? a local garage (near bristol) has a 2003 tdi with 63000 on the clock for 4995, which seems a bit steep, but im struggling to find anymore for sale. i have tried auto trader, are there any other web site's i should be trying.yeah they do go for a lot, i paid bout that for my 03 arosa tdi with 40k on it from stealers, and lupos are meant to go for more than arosas. i wouldent be expecting to pay 5k for that one though. It will probebly sell so i dont know how willing they will be to lower the price but im sure if you wait long enough more will pop up which are priced better. Be ready to drive some distance to find a good one tho they always seem to be miles away! Have a look on ebay every now and again! good choice of car and good luck!!! ( oh yeah and make sure the cambelts been changed befor you buy one!!!)
g-man85
Lupo's tend to carry a £1-1.5k premium over the Arosa TDI.Personally a reasonable Arosa TDI with 50-60K is worth between £3-3.5K so I would say a Lupo would be around £4k-4.5K mark
r0yst0n
i would be happy with either a lupo or arosa tdi but my budget was really £4000, i'll keep looking till i find one, i did'nt realise they were so hard to get hold of!! cardaft
They very rare anyway and i think people find they are just too good to sell You 'can' find an Arosa TDi from £2500 + Its just a case of waiting for the right one, but be prepared to travel

g-man85
340 return journey to get mine too! So fuel for my car plus fuel for my bro's Golf 1.8T!They are holding their value well at the moment, so find a good one if you're planning to keep it!Plus if its on higher mileages, make sure its been serviced properly to ensure its likely to last!Personally if you don't mind either a Lupo or Arosa, get an Arosa as you're more likely to get a lower mileage one for the price.I've seen a couple pop up within your budget. I presume you're after a standard gleaming one?I keep thinking about selling mine but cannot find another car to replace it that will be as good and cheap to run! cardaft
I think with its cheap tax and early next year they are dus to take off the conjestion charge in london for cars producing under 120co2 they will hold their value extremely well.Ive even noticed they seem to be going up in value slightly. r0yst0n
decided to buy an arosa 1.4 sport in the end, it's now parked on the drive! im looking into new 15"wheels, what tyres are best for the car? toyo proxies?
cardaft
Very nice choice, what year is it?I take it it doesnt have the 15" sport wheels then?Toyos are popular on here, but they appear to wear quickly, but they are quite cheap for what is a good tyre.
