absolutly amasing! i am gob smacked. i love the old polo g40's and love to see them in such good condition as yours. did you do all the work yourself?

What kind of figures is she pulling?

i dream of having one of these for a weekend car, is this your daily driver?

She is my daily indeed and is still going strong after 140K...although I have never had it on the rollers when I bought it the guy gave me a print out showing 116bhp - since then i have done toothed belts, induction, full system incl 4 branch, chipped and fitted the front mount intercooler.

I'll be lucky to see 140bhp to be honest without greens / SNS remap @ PSD but for now i'd say roughly 130bhp as it stands.

It is more than plenty and doesn't get driven hard until fully warm, gets regular oil changes etc to try and keep it running healthy.

I had some help on the conversion but most of the work is done by me - is a bad hobby to have though when you need to use it for work!

Nice to see your car mate! Nice stance on those wheels too. You still got the adjusters in on the back? Looks like it sits a little high, still cool though and always been a fan of the wee G-lader ;)

What are your plans for this Lupo shell then?!

...just read your reply in the other thread

I won't spoil it for others though lol.

She does sit high at the rear as I found if it was lower the handling was provoking more understeer and thus raised it a little on the coilies to give it back some praticality.

When the splits are refurbed I may drop it a bit to get the "look" but only for shows...

I had a right hoot out in it last night - drove some 200+ miles to drop a mate home down south and love the back roads nearer my old house!
