Gearbox oil

Recommended Posts

Just want to make sure that this is the plug I need to remove to check the gearbox oil level. Is it the one circled in red:

Don't want to have to get my gearbox rebuilt because I took out the wrong one!!

Thanks

The plug is at the back of the gearbox towards the bottom if you want to drain the gearbox.

The refill plug is at the front of the gearbox, this is the plug you should remove to check the level.

Stick your finger inside the hole and you should be able to just feel the oil with a straight finger.
