Clouseau
depends if you want more fun driving the car or being outside it looking at the "stretch".go for the 195/45/15.
one litre wonder ;)
im running 15x7 with 175/50/15 rubber on them , theres a little bit of stretch , ill go out to the garage and take a pic ( a down shot ) of the wheels if you want so you can see what it looks like mate
biggaz
why not try 185/45/15's
Clouseau
yeah that would be a good size for a 1.4. last time i looked though it wasnt made by top brand names, could be worth a go though. Edited June 2, 2007 by qually

pro3mark
will the 175/50 let me put my foot down a little,or will they be a bit too stretched?Mark
Max69vk
Shouldn't be a problem at all, its only seriously stretched rubber that you really have to think about (eg 165x45)
one litre wonder ;)
ill take a pic of my 175/50's for ya mate style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> and max , even sitting at the back with the blocks in without the ajuster rings mine rubs like a b*tch with an ET35

lupodave
I have 195/45/15s on 15x7s that have a tiny stretch. If that's any help. Should be able to go low enough on them without any problems. They are also the correct tyres to fit to 15" rim (6-7J) on a Lupo, according to the inside of the petrol cap lol. one litre wonder ;)
i think hes the same as me and wants it slammed rather that just "low" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> , mind you it would depend on the offset as well , ET35 on a 15x7 i could go a fraction closer to the inside of the car with a fractionally higher ET drawing the wheel in but then theres still no guarentees that it will clear
duplostyle
i think 165/45r15 would be best, because they realy are 180/45r15 in real life, that would give u litle bitt stretch more than the 195/45r15 witch isent a stretch at all! hehe
pro3mark
thanks for the info on the 165/45's, there the federal formoza's if im correct?can't find them anymore, do you know if they've been discontinued?il keep an eye out for them, and regarding the offset, the turbo's im looking at are et28,is this going to stop me goin uber low?sorry for all the questionsMark
Max69vk
165x45's are discontinued in the UK, 165x50 is the nearest size.
pro3mark
thanks max, hmm, decisions decisions, have you got any ideas of what tyres your going to put on your max?Mark
Max69vk
I was thinking of 175x50's mainly to keep the speedo accurate, so many speed cameras round my way & they're all so bloody sensitive!
pro3mark
a very good point, a few tyres in that size too,and relatively cheap,i may stray down this route too, when my wheels eventually get hereMark Edited June 3, 2007 by pro3mark
