Clouseau
saw a sign near me today for a weigh bridge, so couldnt resist going in and being cheeky to ask for a weight reading.result was 1005kgsthis is with empty carjust under half tank of petroli have removed 25kgs with the rear interior stripped out ( rear base and back seat sections + head rests + parcel shelf + all seat belts and fittings + tools/ compressor )seems like the revised gti weight of just over 1000kgs is more accurate than the earlier figure of 975kgs.only extra i have is sunroof, will allow 5-10 kgs for that.so it would be about 1030kgs kerb with interior in. with about 10 or so kgs of fuel on board.what was the revised vw figure for kerb exactly?
