bossjohnc
How about this one?It serves food until 9pm, it's by a canal which will be nice for the summer (if it's still light), and it's close to the M40 junction of the M25 - should be a doddle to get to.Anyone know it? Nicki
I'm not going to the meet in May, but surely there must be another half decent pub/restaurant in Iver?!?There is only one pub in the West Drayton area which used to be reasonable when I lived round there - its down on the bank of the canal - Turning Point I think? bossjohnc
I think we're looking for a pub rather than a restraunt, and if you've got a bad experience with that pub then it's probably a bad idea to try it!Looks like Adam K's idea is probably best style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Adam K
would anyone be interested in completely altering the location to just near hangar lane on the a40 to the all you can eat chinese??i've been there probably 20+ times and it's amazing. it had about 30 dishes to choose from and it costs £9 per person, also desert is included in that too. bossjohnc
No, not really.Nicki - do you perchance recall a steep humpback bridge near the turning point that lowered loops and VXs would have no chance of clearing? Nicki
Steep humpback bridge - yes.Clearance issues - no.G40's, porsche 911's, chevvy camaro's and slammed passat estates never had a problem with it. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
