MurgaGTi
Will depend on your area as to the cost of your insurance.Performance is good and will surprise a lot of people. I showed up a Golf GTi on the way home from work style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />Petrol, I usually get about 140-160 miles for £20 but again that dependant on price of petrol in your area and the way you drive it.Oh and I have a silver 51 plate GTi style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />)
AndyW
Insurance could be anything, its obviously specific to your area, driving history, convictions etc etc. Confused.com is a great little tool to give you an idea of prices.Whats your budget?Heres some general thoughts to give you an idea. Swoxy
Welcome to the site mate. Which Swift do you have? I traded up (via another car) from a Swift to a Lupo and I can safely say it's miles better. Kelly
Hello there.I know there was one one the forecourt of my local VW dealer as i noticed it as i picked my Sport up. It was reflex silver, but if i remember correctly i think it was a 53 plate. But obviously coming from a mean dealer they put the price up quite a bit. I think this one was nearly 9k style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> Anyway maybe have a look on their website...I pay £1,400 per annum for my Sport and im also 19....not 20 until Jan however. Good luck finding your car. I found mine at last style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Kelly.

You're right about the Swift GTI's being rust buckets mate, the build quality of the Lupo is in a whole different league.

Im 21 with a years no claims bonus and I've been quotes £250 by several companies, fully comp! £250!!! Thats half what I pay for my 1.4 almera at the moment... Either they just dont really know what the car is, or its something to do with me living in a safe little town in scotland
Adam
£250? on a lupo gti? That quote seems too good to be true. Good going if it works out ok though,
LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
£250 would be an amazing quote for a 21 year old with a years no claims. The Lupo Gti would be worth about £6000 minium and is group 11.At 22 with 1 years NCB I paid £1700 f/c on a brank spanking new Gti.At 23 with 2 years NCB I paid £1000 f/c with modifications declared. At 24 with 3 years NCB I paid £800 f/c with lots of modifications declared and £19000 agree valueAt 25 with 4 years NCB I paid £800 f/c with lots of modifications declared and £16000 agreed value. And the grouping has gone up to 13 due to power increase. Edited April 18, 2006 by LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
