Was up at the 5 a side Tournament on Friday night and saw 2 GTi's in the car park. I wasn't in mine as my mate was driving. There could've been 4 in 1 car park as my other mate who plays up there also has a Raven blue one!

How would I rectify? Or would it be easier to take it to a garage?

I've thought about just headbutting the dash where the noise seems to be coming from but some how I don't think that would work! It's driving me crazy!

My GTi has started to randomly make the clicking/ticking noise that you hear when you indicate. The lights don't flash inside or outside I just get the annoying noise, sometimes it will go on for my whole drive, sometimes it's just every now and then. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? Cheers Murga

It's up near Fagley and Thornbury in Bradford. If you don't work at the Morrisons head office it won't be you. I'm not there any more so guess I won't find out.

Dont think they were turbo's, had some deep dish rims tho. Saw it again today near the Craven Heifer, a skin headed lad driving it.

My mum's got a C2 GT which I think is the same as the VTR.. i've driven it and it's dead sluggish in comparison to my GTI. I've seen a VTS getting a good flooring and it looked pretty nippy. COuldn't compare it against mine though as I was in a very dodgy works Mondeo.

Had a giant exhaust, short haired guy driving. I was in my mates Ford Focus so you won't have seen me.

My brothers lupo sport has the light on and it has been on for 5 months he has taken it to the garage at least 5 times, the first time he took it they said it was because the dip stick was sticking out now they said that it needs the bottom of the engine replacing which is goin to cost over 1800 pounds!!!

Had a better look at a Silver GTi this morning at around 8:30am had after market alloys and a skinny little fella driving. I was at the side of you approaching the roundabout.

Was around dinner time, only saw it briefly. Looked as though it was missing a spoiler though..?? I was in a big dopey Mondeo Estate (work car) which I was later pulled in for doing an illegal u-turn style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

How come you didn't check out the insurance before doing the mods?

My brother has the problem with the engine management light on his Sport. It's been in and out of the garage since he got it. Never thought about the fuel though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />S suppose we could try normal petrol see what that does!

How much is that gunna cost to repair? As I have an identical bump on the passenger side altho i've lost the window too
