on autodata, it says

EVAP canister purge valve, fuel pressure, injector(s), HO2S

so it could be an lambda probe fault! (Hot Oxygen Sensor 2) which is in front of the cat i think (bank 1)

I'd go for the lambda sensor due to it showing up as intermittent - lambda sensors commonly don't go from working fine to not working, they instead go through a period of being a bit dodgy.

Most of the other stuff on that list would fail completely if it failed, apart from possibly the injector - but I'd expect other errors as well if there was a dodgy injector.

ya, it became alright today, the light completely gone off today...

my friend told me that try put some shell optimax in, and it seems alright today mate. (shell optimax can clean the valve, will that really help to solve my problem?)

What should i do if reall the dodgy lambda sensor?

Have the same problem. My lights are intermittent, EPC warning and engine with lightning through it.

Anyone got a spare lambda probe for an AUB engine?

Cash waiting!

Also is this a diy job?

epc could be brake light switch. also if DBW take off plug from TB and spray with WD 40. you may also want a scan 'cos engine light can mean lots of things, not just lambda

Had this problem previously a few years ago, and lambda probe was changed under warranty. Solved the problem. But now warranty over!

Book says that the highlighted lights mean lambda sensor problem.

Got no idea what DBW is or TB for that matter??
