Hello all, and all that may remember me. I bought a Lupo sport new, 14 years ago, and let it go back in 2008. Currently running around in a 12' plate Octy Vrs, but I'm now looking for a second car for the Mrs as we are now living up in Elgin. Getting excited again about these little motors, and wish I'd never sold mine. I'm thinking they could be the next 'classic dub' Anyways if anyone is living up this way and knows of one for sale. Pm me please. As always this is a great site and seams to have matured a lot. Dan

Hi guys, long time no see. So thought it was about time we had a gtg at the usual place. Pride of Lincoln. Seeing as its now show season, its been hard finding an available date, so we thought that Saturday 18th August would be as good as any, as its the day before VW Festival, and we could arrange a convoy for the following day while we are there. ****** me, still some old faces on here. Found a flaw with the Lupo.......the pram dont fit in the boot! @Lincolnshirelupogti - we have had a few meets now, mainly polo's, but want to see more dubs there. Ok how much will that cost, aint going to VW as got my fingers burnt there!

Had this problem previously a few years ago, and lambda probe was changed under warranty. Solved the problem. But now warranty over! Book says that the highlighted lights mean lambda sensor problem. Got no idea what DBW is or TB for that matter??

Have the same problem. My lights are intermittent, EPC warning and engine with lightning through it. Anyone got a spare lambda probe for an AUB engine? Cash waiting! Also is this a diy job?

Hi peeps. I need to know where the earth point on the car is for the lights. As mentioned in a previous topic. According to people in the know it has something to do with a floating earth, but i am dammed if i know where the earth point is! replaced the rear cluster with the origional and fault transferred. Leads me to think that is the car connector back over. Buggered if i know. Just thought i would see if anyone had any ideas before i bite the bullet and seek out a garage. gulp. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

just 2 days ago, the gate guard pointed out that my side light was out front left, but came on when i breaked, as i had to dip them approaching the gate. I then did a full lights check and found the problem at the rear. Have just changed the rear brake light in that same cluster last week, if thats any relevance. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":confused:" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />

No non, and checked for looseness, but if the were damp why would that cause the front left side light to go out and only come on when i break? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Please help people in the know. When side or full lights are on the left rear cluster dosent light up, and the side light front left is out. When I break the rear left cluster lights up, and the front left side light lights up. Indicators, reverse lamp work on rear left. Fog does not. The whole right side is fine. Have substituted the origional rear cluster back in, same problem, and i know this to be serviceable. Looked at fuses but they are in pairs, ie both rear fogs, both rear lights etc. Totally baffled.
