AndyW
Personally I'd panic and go hide under a table. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />Are they brand new pads?
db
As Andy said, if they're new discs and pads they'll need time to bed in. If they're not new and it's still happening then something's not right.

Snoopy
You sure it was the brakes smoking and not the tyres? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
ArosaPD
That's bizarre. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />Defo sounds to me like you have really jammed on the anchors and these discs and pads have not bedded in yet. You will get loads of smoke if you do that. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
zippy
I've had Green Stuff pads for 18 months.Grooved disks - took ages to bed them in, & they're still mint.
payna
my 280 black diamonds, with red-dot fast road pads are dogs nuts. well worth the money! i just let them do their own thing for the first few hundred miles and then gave them a bit of hard braking to deal with! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
lil kez
ive never rated green stuff padsthey seem to take a while to get warmed up before they work as they should and who wants that on the roadthink its coz of the materials they use to stop them producing as much dust as normal pads. Just dont think they do the job well enough.Tarrox dics with Pagid pads seem to be a good combo on my past cars x Edited November 14, 2005 by lil kez
